Wade brings a curiosity and lived wisdom to his mindful meditation work. He patiently held space while we worked together to set goals and intentions. He created customized "mnd movies" to help build my self-care muscle. These 3-D vision boards, one of my favorite tools to help my students co-create their reality, have helped me step into complicated goals with more ease and grace. I have worked with high risk students for over a decade to provide access to essential resources and financial literacy. I met Wade during a research study to support individuals recovering from trauma. I had spent 22 months serving as an essential and front liner worker during the pandemic. A few weeks after I left the front lines I was struck by a car while crossing the street resulting in injuries to my mind, body and spirit. Wade's work has been deeply healing, calming and energizing as I navigated the process of sorting my mind and extensive physical therapy.
