These 3-D vision boards, one of my favorite tools to help my students co-create their reality, have helped me step into complicated goals with more ease and grace. I have worked with high risk students for over a decade to provide access to essential resources and financial literacy. I met Wade during a research study to support individuals recovering from trauma. I had spent 22 months serving as an essential and front liner worker during the pandemic. A few weeks after I left the front lines I was struck by a car while crossing the street resulting in injuries to my mind, body and spirit. Wade's work has been deeply healing, calming and energizing as I navigated the process of sorting my mind and extensive physical therapy.
